Today was a travel day, so I don’t have much to report. I had to make my way back to the airport, then board a plane to Eilat. The reason I ended up here is because I will be going to Jordan tomorrow and this is the closest place to depart from.
We landed in the middle of the desert. I wasn’t sure what to expect. It ends up that the city is a resort town on the Red Sea. That means lots of yachts, lots of clubs, and lots of money. Not a bad way to spend a Shabbat.
No matter how nice the environment looks, there are still reminders that this is a conflict zone.
Goodnight, Israel!
